~ Hurricane Irma Update ~
April / May 2018
We have finally been able to begin repairing the damage done to our preacher's home and to remove some trees that were made unsafe because of the storm. The things not done yet have contracts signed and will be done very soon. Lyle worked endlessly to make sure that everyone else was taken care of before he concentrated on the repairs to his home. Their home is located on the back side of our church property.

Thank you for all the prayers, phone calls, emails, and text messages. God heard each and every prayer and spared us from the complete devastation that this storm could have caused. All donations sent to us are appreciated. Our building was a sanctuary for many of our members who were without power. Our main phone system has finally been restored. After a few more repairs, we should be back to normal.
Relief Effort Update - November 21st:
We have given out supplies in Everglades City, Chokoloskee, Plantation Island, Copeland, Jerome, and Naples. So far, we have given out washers & dryers, refrigerators, stoves, hot water heaters, bedroom furniture, living room furniture, kitchen tables and chairs, purple sheet rock, 2 x 4's, 2 x 6's, drywall mud, drywall tape, and screws. As needs are made known to us, we are working to meet them. Pictures from these efforts can be viewed below. You are never to young to be a part of doing God's work.
Fellowship Meal
We hosted a fellowship meal on December 17th from 1 - 3PM down in Chokoloskee. We are invited those who we have helped over the past few months recover from the hurricane. Thank you to the people from the Havana Cafe for the wonderful food! We had food, activities and entertainment that afternoon.
January 5, 2018
On Friday, January 5th, we delivered our last shipment of supplies. The people of Chokoloskee and the surrounding area still have a ways to go before their lives are back to "normal". They are very thankful for all that you have done to help them.
Thank you to everyone who has donated either directly to us or to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort!
